As promised, here is all you need to know about my Madden NFL 13 Online Franchise.

YOU MUST READ THIS ENTIRE LONG POST BEFORE YOU CONSIDER JOINING.

My franchise is going to be made up of a total of 16 user teams. The reason for this is because having a full 32 user league is an absolute logistical nightmare, especially when schedules have to line up perfectly in order for people to play their games against each other.

If there is enough interest, I will start up another Online Franchise with the exact same rules, but with different people and no prizes.

I will be choosing people for my league on Wednesday, August 8th 2012 around 11 Eastern. I have 5 spots reserved for friends and will need 11 more people to complete the league. As it stands now, you must be a Follower of my stream and someone who shows up regularly in order to join. In anticipation of more than 11 people wanting to join, I will be doing a live draw for each of the 11 spots. Also, I have made no promises to anyone for guaranteed entry into this league. If you don’t get in, I apologize, but I only have limited spots.

Here is the list for both franchises. Franchise 1 is full and Franchise 2 is looking for a few more people. Please PM me on Twitch.tv if you would like in.

 

Rules

 

The rules can change on a week to week basis as I see fit. But here are the most important ones I have off the top of my head right now.

-The league will be open for business a day after release. August 29th, 2012 to be exact.

-First and foremost, NO CHEESING. If you are a cheeser, plan to cheese or know exploits that will get you easy wins against the CPU or other users, please look for another league. To me, cheesing is no fun and does not belong in my Online Franchise. If you are suspected of cheesing, I will investigate and make a judgement call. There is a zero tolerance policy in effect for cheesers.

-You have 2 full days to play each week. I want this dynasty to advance as quickly and efficiently as possible. During the off-season, this could change, but I’m not exactly sure how it works yet, so I guess the same rule applies here.

-You must be active. Because I have so much interest in this league, I can’t have anyone taking a week off or setting their team to autopilot while they are on vacation. I cannot stress this enough. If you do not play your week during the 2 days provided, I’m going to kick you. And you can’t hate me for it. Simple as that. I do understand that we all have jobs, families, and emergencies, so there will be certain exceptions to this rule, but I will not hesitate to boot you out of the league if you’re not playing your games.

-This is not a one season league. If you plan on leaving after a season, please don’t join. I want to complete a minimum of 5 league years in this Franchise and have fun doing it.

-All trades must go through me. This isn’t that big of a rule, but if I see someone giving away Tom Brady for Jake Locker and a 3rd rounder, I’m going to be asking some questions.

-By joining this league, you agree to follow these rules. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. You also agree not to get mad at me if I kick you for breaking them.

 

Prizes

 

There will be a grand prize given out to the Super Bowl winner at the end of each year. I have not decided what it will be, but I am open to ideas. No, I’m not giving away a car.

There will be a bonus prize for whomever brings the Browns back to their glory days (lol) and wins them a SuperBowl in the first year of the league. I have not decided what that will be either.

Gameplay Settings

 

Because everything in Madden 13 will be all new this year, I’m unsure how most of this stuff will work. This section will fluctuate as I get more knowledge of how things work.

Connected Career Mode: Coach

Gameplay Difficulty: All-Pro

Sliders: Set to default

That is all I can think of for now. My entire goal for this league is for everyone to have fun. We are all football fans here, so hopefully no one is dissapointed.
