The only reason I downloaded this demo was because the cover looked cool beside the NHL 12 cover on the Xbox Live Demo Marketplace. And I’m sure glad I did.
I did play a bit of Warhammer 40k back in the day, and to see it brought to life in a shooter is really cool. At first, Space Marine looked like yet another Gears of War clone, but that stigma quickly wore off as I got to know my trusty Chain Sword thing that cut everything to shreds with few presses of the X button.
Can’t wait to get my hands on this one.

Warhammer 40000: Space Marine
After a long wait, NHL 12 finally gets it’s demo and we think it’s awesome.
In this video you get to see the Play Now mode which features the Canucks vs. Bruins as well as the abbreviated Be a Pro mode which has some great features that make it way more accessible than before. The only thing this video is missing are more goalie fights. We tried to get one on video and it never materialized.
Can’t wait for the full version of the game in a few weeks!
