Last year I ran my first ever NCAA Online Dynasty. I really didn’t know what to expect. It eventually led to two Madden 13 Online Franchises and now we have come full circle with the release of NCAA 14 in less than a month. I’m super excited.
Not too many improvements this year on the Dynasty side. We do get new recruiting though, which is cool. We are also getting the NCAA intro to the infinity engine.
So with saying that, I’m going to lay down some ground rules for my NCAA 14 OD.
I’ve always said that I wanted this league to run for at least 5 seasons, and we’ve made it! Although the league turnaround has been pretty big, the league has been very healthy and active enough to be competive. I’m very happy about that.
I’m also sad to announce that this will be the last year of the Franchise. I’ve made that decision based on a few things. For starters, NCAA 14 is coming out in early July, which is just over two months away. Very excited for that game. The other reason would be that this game is getting very stale. Not just for me, but for other users as well. I know most people don’t even play the game outside of the CC. It feels like a good time to call it quits.
Unlike previous years, I’m going to streamline this list to make it quick and easy to follow. Grats to Ging on his second straight Super Bowl win.
Welp! Season number 2 is officially over. I would like to congratulate ThatGing on his Super Bowl victory. With the amount of talent in the league, that wasn’t an easy task. I would also like to thank the participants of Season 2 for a very enjoyable, drama-free season. It makes my a job heck of a lot easier.
Anyways, now is the time I like to look over the rules and polish them up a bit. I’ve also taken into account some feedback I’ve received from several users, which I really do appreciate. I will be incorporating that feedback as well as some of my own into the new league rules for Season 3.
With the first season in the books, I want to congratulate our two Alan Bowl Champions Gr8northwest (49ers – League 1) and VinnieMac (Steelers – League 2) as well as everyone who participated in the league throughout the Inaugural Season. I had a ton of fun and hopefully you did to.
With this being my first Online Connected Career I learned a lot of things. First of all, it’s really hard to get some people to play their games. And secondly, people will take advantage of anything they can to win. Therefore, I wanted to update the rules for Season 2 to enforce a more ‘Sim’ type of gameplay that will be fun for everyone.
